Grants for Ukrainian mobile developers from AppCampus

AppCampus is an accelerator created jointly by Microsoft and Nokia to support Windows Phone developers. For the implementation of their applications, the latter can receive from 20 to 70 thousand euros of assistance. Developers can apply at the idea / prototype stage.

On December 14, a one-day event will be held in Kiev, where developers will be able to present their projects, and the best projects will be recommended by Microsoft Ukraine for receiving grants. In order to get to the event, developers need to submit an application by December 10.

Does winning a local event guarantee a cash grant from AppCampus?

No, but the chance to get it through this event will increase significantly.

What do you need to take part in the event?

You must fill out an application on the f6s website. In the application, you must specify a description of your mobile application, as well as provide additional materials to the maximum - screenshots, mockups, ux / ui schemes and any other content that will help unlock the potential and value of your application for end users. After the application period ends, the organizing committee will select several projects to participate in the 14 December event.

I have a mobile app on iOS / Android and I do not know how to program on Windows Phone, can I apply?

Yes.

My application has already been published in the Windows Phone Store, can I participate with it?

Not. Mobile applications at the concept or prototype stage are accepted.

I do not have a prototype or concept, but there is a great idea that will change the world (for example, a social network with a geo-geek for cats), can I submit an application?

Yes you can. But the organizing committee will assess the prospects of such an idea and the likelihood of its successful implementation. Before the date of the final event, the developer must develop a concept or prototype of the application. If at the time of the event the applicant does not have a concept / prototype ready, he will not be able to take part in the final event.

I have a mobile service for mobile developers or users, can I participate?

No, only applications are accepted.

I have a concept game. Can I participate?

Yes, but in the application, do not forget to specify your experience in developing gaming applications.

What are the project selection criteria?

The application should be global, should use the key features of the Windows Phone platform, the use of Nokia Music API, Nokia Imaging SDK, Speech API is recommended.

Can I submit multiple projects?

Yes.
