Yes, the
Indian satellite of Mars did not have time to
go from the orbit of the Earth to Mars , as another interesting news appeared - today China launched the “Chang'e-3” spacecraft to the Moon, with a very interesting load - the Chinese lunar rover. The start of the Chang'e-3 was successful, so now we can expect the arrival of the Chinese lunar rover "Yuytu" (this means "The Jade Hare") on the moon already in the middle of December.
According to the Chinese experts, the “bunny” will study the surface of the moon, as well as the geological structure of our satellite (all this is necessary not only as a purely scientific goal, but also to search for possible lunar resources useful to humanity). Before China, moon rovers launched only the USSR and the USA, so if everything goes well, China will enter the top three not just space, but the "lunar" powers. Among other things, this is the first launch of the moon rover in the 21st century.

Chinese experts say that the soft landing of the Jade Hare is the most difficult part of the mission. Also, the Chinese claim that about 80% of the details of the apparatus and the technologies used to create it are created from scratch.
As for Chang'e-1 and Chang'e-2, these devices worked in lunar orbit, taking photographs of the Earth’s satellite. The first device sent 1.37 terabytes of data to earth, and after completing its mission, it was broken on the surface of the moon (also for scientific purposes, by the way). The second device is now 60 million kilometers from Earth, moving farther and farther away (simultaneously studying outer space).
It is worth noting that a little earlier, the Americans stated that the Chinese apparatus with exhausts could hinder the exploration of the lunar "atmosphere" by the American apparatus LADEE.
Traditionally, the Chinese stated that the lunar rover, and indeed the entire Chinese lunar program, were not created as a competitor to the space programs of other countries.
