Good day!
Today is our holiday. We had a full-scale launch of
LTE in Moscow. Covered most of the city within the Moscow Ring Road, until the end of 2013 coverage will be 80%.
Here is a coverage map:

To connect to the LTE network, you need to update your SIM card.
We offer you to simply get a new USIM card with 4G support in any Beeline office. If you are already a Beeline subscriber, the exchange of your SIM for a new one is free. The number is, of course, preserved.
Our devices (routers, modems, and so on) that support 4G can choose 3G and 2G when they go beyond 4G coverage. The latest versions of modems support LTE FDD (800/1800/2600 MHz), UMTS (900/2100 MHz) and GSM (900/1800 MHz). Previously launched tariffs with a large volume of traffic are suitable for both 3G and 4G devices (“Highway” options).
In 2014 we will get from 4G to the largest settlements of the region. Development in the regions will be greatly helped by the fact that we work with LTE and at low frequencies (800 MHz), which allows us to provide coverage from one base station about 4 times more than from the station at 2,600 MHz.

Technically available speed is up to 74 Mb / s, but in fact it will be lower depending on radio conditions, network utilization and design capabilities of your phone (if you don’t have a top model, it will be cut according to processor capabilities). Ideally close to 74 Mb / s, we received only in almost laboratory conditions and near base stations. In practice, in Moscow, with a normal network load, the average speed will be from 10-20 Mb / s.
