ASUS X102 BA laptop review

For the review I got a copy in a very beautiful design, a sort of dark turquoise metallic. The case and cover of the laptop are made of high quality plastic.



On the bottom of the laptop case there is a large ventilation grill and mesh “outlets” of the speakers. There is no hatch for replacing the RAM, the battery is not removable.

Inside the laptop is made entirely in black. Traditionally, for ASUS touch laptops, the entire inner surface of the lid is a single glass surface, under which are directly the screen and webcam.







The keyboard is soft, with a slight pleasant move. The power button is located in the upper right corner, and its silver color contrasts favorably with the overall black design. In the lower right corner there are two green lights: a laptop and battery status.

Screen

The laptop is equipped with a 10-inch glossy touch screen with a resolution of 1366x768. As in the older models of laptops, the sensory properties are excellent, not worse than tablets. The same can be said about the degree of oleophobicity of this screen.

Perhaps the main drawback of 10-inch screens can be called their size: the text of various menus and signatures in the operating system and programs is rather small.

The laptop's audio system uses proprietary technology ASUS Sonic Master, thanks to which this baby boasts a very good sound, comparable to much more expensive laptops.

The time from switching on to requesting the OS password was 25 seconds, and waking up from sleep mode was 2 seconds.
Of course, you cannot expect high performance from this notebook. You are unlikely to be able to comfortably play on it in something more complicated than casual games.

Surfing the Internet via Wi-Fi, with clicks on the links about every 10-20 seconds, the average screen brightness: 4 hours 45 minutes.
Watching HD movies (1280 * 720), average screen brightness: 3 hours and 15 minutes.
The total battery charging time was 1 hour 55 minutes.

First of all, this laptop is designed to be with you always and everywhere, without burdening you with your weight and size. It will be a good choice for those who often work in a cafe or on the road.
