Equipment
In a beautiful black-and-gray box, we are expected to have a traditional set: the tablet itself, a very compact charger, a USB cable (it is also used as a connecting cable for charging), and a plastic tablet stand.

Appearance
The line of tablets ASUS MeMO Pad 10 comes in three colors: glossy white, dark pink and dark gray. I got the latest version for testing, in my opinion, the most stylish, calm and least branded. The color is very dark, almost black, closer to graphite. Body material - plastic, pleasant to the touch, not slippery. This case allows you to better hold the tablet in your hands and reduces the possibility of accidentally dropping it. Build quality is traditionally high for ASUS: no gaps, squeaks and backlash, the buttons have a small and clear move. Above the screen is a front camera lens.

On the back of the sides are the outputs of stereo speakers and the main camera lens.

On the top left is the power button and a hole for the microphone.

On the left side there is a microUSB connector (it is also designed to charge the tablet) and a rocking button to adjust the sound volume.

On the right side are a combined audio jack and a microSD card slot.

Screen
The screen used in this tablet has a resolution of 1280 * 752. Due to the fact that the display is made on the IPS-matrix, it has excellent color rendition, and the viewing angle reaches 170 degrees. Multitouch supports up to 10 simultaneous touches.
Sound
Thanks to the proprietary technology ASUS SonicMaster, the sound quality is really great. Especially brightly the sound capabilities of this tablet appear when using headphones. The maximum volume when listening through the speakers is not very high, but this tablet is not intended for voiceover of the party. To watch movies and create a musical background in the room volume volume is enough.
Cameras
The image quality in front of the camera is expectedly low, it is intended mainly for video chats. The main camera has much higher-quality optics and a matrix, the quality of the photographs obtained is noticeably higher, the noise in general is low. Especially good are the videos.
Software
The main control functions are performed by a virtual panel, always located at the very bottom of the screen. On the left is a button to call an additional pop-up panel, which contains several small useful programs. To launch them, there is no need to exit full-screen applications, for example, from games or watching a movie.

In addition to the standard set of Android applications, proprietary utilities are already installed on the tablet: My Library (e-book reader), SuperNote Lite (program for creating notes), ASUS Story (for creating comments to photos), file manager and several others.
Performance
Below are the results of two benchmarks.
AnTuTu :

Quadrant Benchmark:
Duration of work
Surfing the Internet via WiFi, with periodic video views on Youtube and listening to background music, with a screen brightness of 70%: 10 hours and 25 minutes.
Watching HD movies (1280 * 720): 8 hours and 40 minutes.
Full battery charging time: 3 hours and 20 minutes.

Conclusion
At the beginning of this review, I mentioned that this tablet is an excellent choice as a “family” device. This is a full-sized tablet with a high-quality screen and good performance, which allows it to be used for a large number of games, watching movies, listening to music and surfing the Internet; the low weight and the plastic housing reduce the risk of damage in the event of a fall and careless handling by children. Add to this the low recommended retail price of 10,990 rubles, and you get a modern tablet, which you can easily give to children for games and watching cartoons, or take them to the country house or on vacation with a light heart.
