MakeItLab & CoolRF at the International Exhibition Center

Want to whistle too in a freshly-3D-printed whistle? Come to our booth at Discover ICT. The exhibition takes place these days (November 26-28, 2013) in Ekaterinburg-Expo.

If you arrive at the exhibition early in the morning, you can catch this deserted view:

At the front desk, our robber head will kindly watch you with his sly, narrowed eyes:

After the check-in desk we go straight ahead, undressing in the wardrobe. We go straight past the cafe, turn left. On the left side of the pavilion, next to 2GIS, we see our tables with two 3D printers:

Interesting at our booth

Today we mainly print whistles and bracelets. Some printed models are given to particularly inquisitive and smiling smiles. On the first day, the MakeItLab handing out is chronically short ; one of two printers is not working. With all this, the stand enjoys considerable popularity. Apparently, three-dimensional printing is still a novelty in our "outback".

From the smart home CoolRF at the exhibition constantly hangs a small poster and are business cards for those interested. You can chat about the project online, for example in the VKontakte group.

The author does not particularly believe in the practical effect of such offline events. It will be interesting to look at it in the numbers of added subscribers. Therefore, to the readers of this there is a small request. If you are not yet among the subscribers of our companies here on Habré and VKontakte, do not subscribe to us this week. Subscribe later. In order not to spread the statistics.

Interesting at the exhibition

All IT is concentrated mainly in our pavilion. In the first pavilion, which immediately to the left of the entrance to the building, welding-cutting technologies were concentrated. Both manual and programmed. There are working instances that demonstrate the welding process (movements of the robot without welding itself). Powerful robots without any protective fences.

Crowds of schoolchildren and students ply from time to time throughout the exhibition. We even joked that state employees were being driven to the polls. And on the expo export students. It's funny to watch young people wandering between booths with welding machines and big, serious male managers. The guys are lost and come to life only near our booth. Which focuses on just such an audience.
