Hello, habra users! This post will show you how to make a high
- quality
microscope from an old
webcam . Make it really easy. If interested - continued under habrakatom.

Step 1: Required Materials
- Actually, the webcam itself
- Screwdriver
- Super glue
- Empty box
- Brain and some free time
')
Step 2: Opening the webcam
To begin, open your camera. But be careful not to damage the CMOS sensor.

You need to extend the wires of the capture button to get still images. I also got wires on / off the LEDs. They were gray and yellow (you may differ).

Step 3: Using the Lens
Now we need to flip the lens over the CMOS sensor. Place it in 2-3 mm from this sensor and fix it (for example, with superglue).

Step 4: Assemble the camera
After turning the lens over, assemble the camera back. Now it is ready for use as a microscope.

Step 5: Final Stage
Now you need to fix the camera on the box, as shown in the photo. Now she is ready to receive images!
You can also put a mirror in order for the light to spread throughout the “object of study” and under it. Now our microscope is completely ready!

Enjoy! ;)
