John Carmack leaves id Software

This is how an entire chapter in the history of video games ends. According to an official statement from Bethesda Softworks, which was made fifteen minutes ago, John Carmack, co-founder and CTO of id Software, left the company in order to fully concentrate on working on Oculus Rift .
