On Thursday, Swedish authorities reported that they would extradite Gottfried Svartholm's co-founder, The Pirate Bay, Varg of Denmark, where he was accused of hacker attacks.
At the moment, Svartholm is serving a term in a Swedish prison for breaking into the company's computers working with the tax service. The extradition of Denmark's Svartholm will take place on November 27th, on the basis of the June declaration by the Danish authorities that Gottfried Svartholm in April-August 2012 was engaged in illegal downloading of files belonging to the police.
In October, Gottfried Svartholm wrote an open letter in which he asked the Swedish authorities not to extradite him to Denmark because he could not read the indictment written in Danish. The co-founder of The Pirate Bay indicated that the incriminated acts were similar to the crimes for which he was already serving a sentence in Sweden, and demanded to investigate this fact.
In Denmark, Svartholm faces up to six years in prison.
