Games at work - evil?

The whole work week was dedicated to killing unlicensed software from the working machines of our network. Also, on the orders of the authorities, any games installed on the computer were subject to repression, including the removal of the games component, in the Windows itself.

It turned out that we introduced a new rule at work - it is strictly forbidden to play board games, during working hours, everyone who disobeys will receive a serious punishment.
And no one is interested in that the responsibility of the user (in this case, the cashier) is to receive payments from the public, and nothing more.
And people, as you know, come from time to time, so that the operator quite often has significant interruptions in work.

A person is not a robot, and working all day without distracting at all on anything, of course, is possible, but very hard, and work can turn out unproductive. Therefore, I personally think that it is silly to prohibit people from playing games if this does not go against work.
