Nokia Remade: Green Mobile
At the Mobile World Congress conference in Barcelona, Nokia showed a prototype of a phone made entirely from recycled materials. This environmentally friendly phone, called Remade, is made from recycled cans (case) and old car tires (buttons).
The Nokia Remade phone is not yet a commercial product. This is mostly just a demonstration of the fact that it is possible to produce complex devices not only from new materials, but from recycled materials. In addition, the appearance of a “green” phone gives Nokia a small bonus in the form of points in positive karma. After all, at least some concern for the environment is necessary and useful.
However, it is not even known whether Remade will go into mass production, or will remain a prototype. Nokia says the concept was designed to make them think about the future of mobile phone production.
