Long thought to write or not to write, but then decided. Picking up the source of the site as always in the evening, today I discovered the following problem: Opera wrote scary words- “Can’t display the page” when I tried to update the page on F5 and see what happened there. About the fact that the Internet fell, I did not think, the benefit of the fall is very rare, gouging the browser did not help. Then I decided to ping the server: I almost killed the result; the answers came in 1280 (±) ms. I was scared, I thought that the server was crashing, I got into the console — it wasn’t alive, and the rest of the runet worked perfectly. Only servers from “my” data center in St. Petersburg were not available.
The solution was one: tracert . And then it became clear that either the main line between St. Petersburg and Moscow was broken, or the elementary sticking of the channel.
In connection with the above events, the question arose about the correctness of the grid. Where is the last mile from a third-party provider that would provide me a connection with my server. I wrote to the support of my provider, waiting for clarification. For example, it is perfectly visible from the network of another server provider, and everything works, which immediately removed suspicions from the Data Center. ')
While writing a topic, the problem was never solved. The total time of unavailability of services for 5 hours
