Today, ICANN has
published blocklists for all new top-level domains (1327 new gTLDs). Recall that this measure was introduced to prevent risks associated with a
conflict with the domains of local networks . If the domain zone owner wants to start registration immediately after delegation, he will have to block all second-level domains that are blacklisted.
Block lists were not published for .home and .corp zones - they contain record numbers of erroneous traffic, and they most likely will not be delegated. Another 25 domain zones were also recognized as potentially dangerous. Their start will be delayed until the question of their safety is clarified, and the block lists for them have not even been presented. These include .blog, .site, .web, .work, .mail, .free, .business, and .google. A completely empty block list - only in 17 new domain zones (all of them are non-Latin).
Note that in the domain zone.RUS blacklist will be short - only
152 domains .
')
In total, almost 10 million second-level domains will be blocked, an average of 7346 domains per zone.
The longest blacklist is the .wow zone claimed by Amazon, Google and Demand Media. It is 205 thousand domains, which is almost twice as large as that of the closest "pursuers". Below is the ranking of new domains with the most voluminous block lists:
