Walking the Python Cheeseshop in the open spaces, I came across a “Multi Fly Tracking Software” called Mtrax .
This amazing software, written in Python , is not at all what you might think: it really follows the flies :-)
All you need is a video with flies. The program will track the trajectory of each fly and will make detailed statistics.
