It so happened that often our internal services grew into full-fledged products, such as UrlEye.com. A few months ago in our small startup there was a need to keep under control the contents of the pages of our projects. After reviewing the offers of several other services, they came to the conclusion that they are good, but they are not suitable for us and decided to write our own service. Thus was born the project UrlEye.com - a free service for monitoring websites, with the ability to track changes in the content of pages. In simple words, if you need to be sure that your site has not fallen or, for example, you need to track the moment when the keyword disappeared from the site, then now this is our free service, UrlEye.com.

Everything works very simply, the service offers four functions.

1. Web Scheduler - or just a web alarm clock which, at a certain interval, will request the URL you specified. The interval can be specified from 5 minutes to one day.
2. Look up for a keyword - observation by keyword. Just indicate that you need to track and set the mode:
ontains - contains a keyword or vice versa, not contains. Also, by the interval, our service will request the specified URL, and if the content of the page is different from the expected one, we will definitely inform you about this by e-mail.
3. Value Monitor - allows you to monitor a specific DOM element by its ID or Class Name. Just specify the current value and if it changes, you will be notified immediately.
4. The Xpath Monitor is the same as the number 3, but a little more difficult with the use of Xpath expressions that allow you to also select a specific DOM element and track its value.
After you have filled out the form, click the Test button to make sure that your URL is accessible from our service and the specified keyword is currently on the page. If everything is all right, then click Create and everything is ready.
Service is and will remain free, use.
