The World Country Codes map displays 245 top-level domains, including all UN countries and numerous islands and territories.

The size of the two-letter codes corresponds to the population of countries or territories, with the exception of China and India, the size of which was intentionally reduced by 30% (so as not to get out of the borders of the countries). On the other side of the spectrum, the smallest font size was used to display countries in which less than 10 million residents.

This map is an excellent resource for global Web site managers, global marketers, and geography teachers. The poster was created by John Yunker from Byte Level Research LLC. At
historyshots.com you can purchase a paper version of the card for $ 26.95.
It would be interesting to see a similar map, where instead of the population of countries, the number of registered domain names in the corresponding domain zone would be used.
