Wikipedia: Information Wars and Black PR

Recently, Wikipedia has often been used as reference material.
But is it possible to trust them?
At one time, there appeared curious materials in Computerra on the adjustment of Wikipedia articles by American politicians and special services.

Like all global web trends, this phenomenon has come to us. (Belatedly, but - alas - our responsible people got their information tentacles to online tools to influence minds.) As a result, as a result of the election campaign of the Duma, materials about opposition movements were edited, and an article criticizing the "guarantor of the constitution" was proposed at all to removal (" Vladimir Putin 's Criticism "). The material does not claim objectivity (which is not a reason for its removal, is it not?), But it is very curious (and, in my opinion, must be read).

Thanks oleg_kozyrev , the original material of which forced to publish this topic, so that, as far as possible, spread the information on people, while it has not yet been removed to the end.

I apologize for the bias in politics (it seems that this is one of the trends of Habra at the moment), but I consider it my duty to publish these links, and especially to material from Wikipedia.

Alas, the material is still removed; Now the link redirects to the main material on P., in which all the accumulated information is reduced to a modest paragraph. Perhaps he stayed in the Yandex cache (which is also not for long) ... Although - he should be in the history of Wikipedia edits. And by the way, I copied it! Where to put?
It is good that Integrum Index monitors the offline press - there is always a hard copy and a copy in the Integrum database, even though the day is not far off when they are forced to clean up, and we all remember the novel "1984" ...
