According to TechCrunch , News Corp has the greatest chance of absorbing one of the best startups in 2005. However, the price of $ 150 million proposed by Rupert Murdoch did not suit Digg owners, therefore, most likely, News Corp. will become only an investor.
The first company to invest in Digg development in April 2005 was Greylock Partners .
