Morphane: prefixes, roots, suffixes ...

image

More recently, we are faced with the need for HTML-layout of a large number of diverse educational (school curriculum) material.

Unfortunately, in some cases, it was necessary to separately prepare images with text blocks, which were equipped with a sly layout. This complicates the process of HTML layout and making edits. Thanks to the remarkable MathJax , we were able to optimize the layout in terms of mathematics, physics and inorganic chemistry, but organic chemistry remained unbeaten. Yes, there are packages for layout of structural formulas in LaTex, but there is no support for them in MathJax.

Take, for example, the morphemic analysis of a word (the analysis of a word by its composition). Here, alas, there were no ready-made solutions either ... There were isolated cases on the Web: some sites introduced their own solutions, but not free and undocumented. In addition, not very convenient for layout. In other cases (of which the majority) - again, inserting pre-made images. Almost always - raster.

Therefore, preparing for new materials, and also for a long time wanting to try development on GitHub, I decided at my leisure to make a simple js-engine for drawing symbols of morphemes. The work is damp, but I will be glad if someone joins , criticizes the code (of course, there is something to criticize) or, if necessary, remembers Morphane in the future.

Later, a library is also planned to display the syntax for parsing the sentence.
