FOSS Sea technical conference: back-end based on free and open technologies
On November 30, in Odessa, the VI specialized technical conference FOSS Sea will be held. From this year, the conference becomes thematic and the first topic to be raised within its framework is the back-end on the basis of free and open technologies.
The conference will be held in two parallel streams:
The conference program is at the stage of formation. To become a speaker, you must apply on the conference website before November 10.
The conference has been held since 2008. About 150 people visit it annually. Conference participants include programmers, system administrators, heads of departments and companies, as well as students. Among the countries participating in the conference, the following can be singled out: Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, USA, Germany, Moldova, Portugal, France, Kyrgyzstan, Romania, Tajikistan.
Presentations at the conference were made by employees of companies such as ALT Linux, Oracle (Sun Microsystems), Mozilla, Yandex, Microsoft, PortaOne, Mosqit, Massive solutions, UNISIM-SOFT, GradSoft, Promwad, DIA, and university staff (in particular, BSTU, ONU, GGMU, KPI, LNU).
For 5 years, the conference was a specialized event for developers and users of free software and was a platform for discussing technical issues and for presenting review reports. Starting this year, the organizing committee decided to make the conference purely technical and to focus all the presentations on the practical aspects of solving various tasks, as well as to make it thematic for a deeper discussion of the topics under consideration.

- "Clouds" - on this stream, participants will discuss technical issues of setting up, administering and supporting cloud infrastructures;
- “JavaScript on backend” - here we will talk about the use of various solutions, such as: node.js, express.js, jscala and others.
