Vista: changed explorer and another

In general, much has changed in Vista, both in terms of functionality and the interface part. Much better, but there is stupidity. I will write about everything I notice. All conclusions are subjective .
In this post I want to talk about the changes in Explorer'e (aka Explorer).

The following is a list of changes that I discovered. (This is a converted log of correspondence with one girl, so do not be surprised if you find elements of direct speech there)
1. address bar. she has 3 states. such as in the screenshot - beautifully indicates the path. then you bring the cursor and the arrows turn into buttons - you can select folders from the list (subfolders) and go to them by clicking the mouse. hellishly comfortable. and the third - if you like to use Claudia - click in an empty space and get a standard, good old, text line

2. go down. something like a taskbar. In XP, it is on the right in mind of html links, if not folder mode is enabled. for some reason in XP I didn’t use it at all, but it takes up a lot of places. I use it all the time. he is more beautiful and more comfortable. More comfortable
3. there are no heaps of stupid File Tools Help and other nastiness
if suddenly (why ???) are needed - press alt and they will appear
4. Favorite Links - something that I have long lacked, what is in macos - favorite folders. Reduce the number of actions much (for some reason from the Favorites menu in XP I was too lazy to choose)
5. The folder tree is visible by default (it can be minimized down)! XP constantly included this tree, without it
6. There are no damn prefixes My (My ...) in folders. My computer, my documents ... Always thought it was nonsense. By the way, there is no moronic “Documents and Settings” either. Now it is “Users”. Personally, I was very pleased.
7. Convenient organization of folders Music, Pictures and other things. What exactly is convenient? ****** no folder My Documents AT ALL, in which everything else is already. Like in XP. Constantly had to create the Documents folder in the My Documents folder. Idiocy. And in general, why is music in documents? ... krch - nonsense.
8. further - for Thumbnails fans - their size can be changed on the fly.
9. if the mode of showing extensions files is key, with F2 (rename) only the name is highlighted (without .txt) - small but nice. though often changing extensions. (note - no one forbids to manually select an extension, or remove it by delete.)
10. love things like tags? I personally am not very used to them. but for those who love, they are supported by the exporter. those. you can sculpt right here. right there you can make Stack By -> Tags and get virtual folders with the names of all tags - each will have files with this tag. (Update: apparently I was mistaken - they can only be sculpted with pictures. Very very sorry)
11. thumbs for files is now
12. convenient search (to the right of the address bar). Striped poppy - who cares?
Regarding the minuses - I noticed that sometimes the icons of the Favorite folders come off. What is the reason for this is not yet known, but already enrages.
