The Internet Watch Foundation organization in the course of the research has concluded that the majority of sites distributing child pornography are hosted on US and Russian servers. The United States accounts for 51% of these resources, and Russia - 20%.
The IWF report, published on Tuesday, also notes that one of the most positive indicators in this regard is in the UK: 1.6% of the total number of sites that violate the law are located on servers in this country; for comparison - in 1997 there were 18%.
