Analysis Assistance Questions

The success of a business idea depends on how others will accept it. That is why you need to be able to clearly and quickly state your idea to the interlocutor. This explains the emergence of the concepts of "lift test" and "marketing with a gun at his head." The essence of both is about to make a textual description of your idea, which can be stated in 1 minute. But sometimes you have to observe that even those who know about such tests are not able to pass it. So how to be ready to pass these tests?

In the book "McKinsey Method" it is argued that an effective message has the properties of brevity, completeness and has a clear structure. Completeness depends on the depth of the analysis of the issue. As for brevity and structure, I brought 5 questions for myself, the answers to which help me in this:

1. What do I suggest?
Summarize the subject matter of the idea.

2. Why am I offering this?
The relevance of my ideas. This is usually a brief description of the situation and the difficulty.

3. How will my suggestion help solve problems?
This is the essence of the proposed idea. It helps to understand, due to which the idea will allow to overcome the difficulties of 2 questions.

4. What benefits will it give?
What are the advantages over current solutions to the problem (if any)? You also need to be prepared to answer the question about what you have to sacrifice.

5. Smart, yes? (Why did nobody guess before me?)
If someone has already suggested this idea to you, then you should probably focus on either optimizing it or on another issue.

Answers should be about 300 characters. Yes, in one form or another, these questions come across in the sources of information. However, I made just such a squeeze for myself from these sources and now I share it with you. Soberly answering these questions, you can be ready for tests for lice of your idea.
