According to the most recent rumors from
Soup (said an acquaintance-programmer working in the company), about fifty steep and highly paid perl-programmers actually remained without work. For a whole year, they tried to make changes to the
Livejournal.com engine, developed photo hosting for users (the opening was scheduled for December last year), but c ++ intervened and the developers spoiled everything.
Now Soup is rapidly writing a new engine for Livejournal.com on “sakh”, and perl-developers, cool and well-paid, are thinking about changing jobs.
Such, here, soup.
More than a year cooked and nothing really cooked.
It’s hard to imagine how much money went down the drain.
