CryptoParty - crypto from the Greek κρυπτός, "secret, hidden" and party - "political party" or "party".

CryptoPati! - this is a workshop, the purpose of which is to get the participants a real experience in the organization of trust channels of communication using modern data encryption technologies and replication of this experience.

Story

The movement is based on a powerful foundation created by the 90's encryption. They, however, actively supported and promoted him.

The parent of the format is an activist under the pseudonym Escher Wolfe and his friend m1k3y . They invented to make parties where people will share with each other technologies and knowledge in the field of security and anonymity.

The movement became viral and in a year and a half more than 70 years ( 2012 , 2013 ) parties have passed around the world.
