Occasionally looking through their tapes in social networks, I recently noticed an interesting
interview in Moscow News. It turned out that the site
gdemvd.ru was invented and implemented by people familiar. In short, an idea: to collect data from separate official sources about police stations in Russia and show the user on the map the nearest ones. I was surprised that it turns out that Yandex did not offer this. The data itself is formally available, but it is necessary to pick it out from different dark corners, and the information is offered in different formats that are not always convenient - for example, doc-files, etc.
An example of a map - according to the site in the Moscow region, a little far from Moscow there are not so many offices. A piece of Mozhaisk and Narofominsky districts.')
I tried to find the district police officer in the village in the south of Russia, where I had been to the summer a lot - it turned out that according to the site, it was not there, only in the neighboring and regional centers. Perhaps not all data is entered into the database. In general, an interesting thing. They are still preparing something about the accident, but this is not very impressive.
