Yesterday I was brought to the presentation of Apple, where they showed the new MacBook Pro, iPad and a completely new Mac Pro.
Unfortunately, the presentation ended rather late, and in the morning you have to get to the airport, so I don’t have time to write a big thoughtful post. Therefore, I bring to your attention several hand-made photos of new devices with short comments. In more detail I will unsubscribe when the equipment gets to Russia, and it will be possible not only to look outside, but also to look inside.

First talked about the new MacBook with a Retina-screen. They are transferred to the Intel Core 4 generation processors, they have become thinner, they have learned how to work longer from the battery, and also ... they got cheaper. It's no secret that sales of laptops in recent times are not very good with all manufacturers. Therefore, one must think that the discount in this case was made not only for the love of the buyer, but also with the aim of spurring trade. The younger MacBook Pro with a 13 inch “retina” now costs 53 thousand rubles even in the official Apple store in Russia. In the States, they ask for $ 1,300, plus sales tax. Personally, the younger version is not enough for me, but the next one, with 8 GB of RAM and a 256 GB SSD, sunk into the soul specifically. Maybe.
Felt the latest Mac Pro, which is similar to the Soviet thermos. Inside the car is mighty, of course. Even the processor inside is not anyhow what, but Xeon E5, and the number of cores can vary from 4 to 12. Everything else also corresponds. I wonder what made this brute very quiet. Subjectively - no more than Mac mini, which is not audible at all. But you have to pay for it by heating. I would not advise you to touch the Mac Pro under load - burn yourself. But from above you can warm up coffee or baby food.
Well, about the iPad. The big version is now called Air and has become not so big. The narrow frame on the sides and thinner body allowed to reduce weight to 470 grams. It is very convenient to hold in one hand, especially if you do not hang a powerful case. The processor was delivered from the iPhone 5s, i.e. very smart. There is a good chance that some people will return to the big format back from the iPad mini.
Or maybe it will not return, because the Retina matrix was also installed in mini, and it became very good. In this case, the dimensions remain the same, even all the old accessories fit. And the price remains the same. In the sale, however, will go somewhat later. The one on the shelves from November 1 (not in Russia, really), but mini either in the middle of November or at the end.
