Last year, NetCat and CMS Magazine conducted a joint study - "Practice of developing mobile sites", this year we decided to continue this work and prepared the following study, with the help of which we tried to track the dynamics of the "mobile" sector of the web development market.

For a start, things are obvious, but for the sake of completeness:

As you can see, the peculiarity of the present time is that we do not let the smartphone out of our hands.
And we use it “to the fullest”, i.e. it is not just a means of communication, but the main way of receiving information and interacting with the outside world.
How many of us are there?
Yes, there are many of us, but over the past year we have become 1.5 times more, in addition, we not only sit in social networks, but also actively look for goods and services, and then we acquire them, i.e. We carry our money online.
Every year more and more developers start working with mobile technologies, the dynamics on the graphics are not surprising, but nevertheless - in 5 years the number of developers has increased 10 times. This suggests that the demand for the development of mobile / responsive sites and related applications should be very substantial.
And here and no ... At first glance, a very strange situation, but then we will see why it currently takes place:
A year later, the customer already understood the need to work with the user of mobile devices, but has not yet found the money for it.
And this is why I did not find:
Those. it can be said that either the number of developers, despite impressive growth, is still not enough, or mobile development technologies are not yet so simple as to affect the final cost for the client, but most likely both options are present.
Very interesting data, soc. networks subside, but everything that is connected with Internet commerce is growing, i.e. E-commerce market is becoming more and more professional, it forms today's trends.
The conclusion can be drawn as follows: users have already undergone some revolution - they are already in the “mobile” future, the client also has a need since he understands where his money is, but development is lagging behind, it does not objectively keep up with the market demand, it will be necessary to increase capacity in the near future, there will be demand.
