New certification from VMware - VCA (VMware Certified Associate) free delivery
In September, VMware announced the introduction of VCA (VMware Certified Associate) certification - this is the initial step in certification, currently it is available in three areas:
VMware Certified Associate - Datacenter Virtualization (VCA-DCV) - Exam blueprint - for assessing knowledge of infrastructure virtualization based on VMware vSphere.
VMware Certified Associate - Cloud (VCA-Cloud) - Exam blueprint - for assessing knowledge of infrastructure virtualization based on VMware vCloud Director.

VMware Certified Associate - Workforce Mobility (VCA-WM) - Exam blueprint - for the assessment of knowledge in VDI products (VMware Horizont View).
In the future, one more direction will be available - VMware Certified Associate - Network Virtualization (VCA-NV ) - this certification is not yet available, but it is known that it will be based on the knowledge of the new VMware NSX product.
Now about the pleasant, you can take the exam from 10/01/2013 until 10/31/2013 absolutely free !
To do this, you must request a change on the site vmware (for this you need to register on it). First you need to go to the training and certification portal , select the required exam (one of the three available VCAs), and select “Exam registration”.
After that, within 15-30 minutes, a letter with confirmation and instructions will be sent to the e-mail indicated at registration:
“Your request has been processed.
Student: FirstName SecondName
Exam: VCA-Cloud Exam [VCAC510]
Candidate ID: VMW - *** - ***
You can now go to:
www.pearsonvue.com/vmware
to schedule your exam. Login using the name and Candidate ID provided above.

We pass along the order of the exam - there will be indicated the cost of $ 120, but until the end of 2013 a 50% discount is valid - the total price of $ 60 will be indicated.
But, if you enter a voucher - VCA13ICS - it will give an additional discount of 50% (available until October 31, 2013). With this in mind, the cost will be 0 $.
The exam is taken online.
