UA Web Challenge V

In October-November, the anniversary, the fifth All-Ukrainian championship for web specialists takes place.

There are only 3 days left until the end of registration, and therefore (and not only) I decided to write to Habr about our event. I would like as many people as possible to find out about the championship (if they still don’t know) and be able to participate, and not everyone regularly visits the events.

The championship is already two and a half years old, but a year and a half has passed since the last note on Habré. During this time, much has changed. Out of tight pants, the championship has grown, this time it will be held on seven floors of the new office of Terrasoft , in Kiev:

And this is 6000 sq. M. meters of space. The building will receive more than 300 people (100 finalists and 200 forum participants, as well as partners, volunteers, organizers, etc.).

It was possible to attract interesting partners to this championship, for example, another general partner, the company Wargaming (known as the creator of the game World Of Tanks):



The organizing committee was engaged in the preparation of this championship for more than half a year, a lot of work has been done to improve all indicators: partners, site, championship mechanics, website and much more (I’m not sure to list them all).

Since jubilee championship, forum included in the program of the final (many participants of past championships asked if they could come, see the atmosphere, talk with colleagues, etc.), and also held a series of training workshops (for participants of our championships - for free) from invited experts .

We try to help our participants to the maximum professional development and simply interested in pumping themselves and their skills. Masterclasses will continue after the championship.

One of the main goals of the championship is to help the best specialists and advanced IT companies to find each other.

Only in the first days after opening the registration for the championship, more than 500 participants registered. A good dynamic is also observed in comparison with each new championship: competition is getting tougher (in some nominations for reaching the final and winning the participants is shared by half the ball), the quality of work increases, the number of registrations and participation in the qualifying round grows.

I would like to check the power of Habr, I am sure that there are a lot of Central Asia, and if you, habrouser, not Central Asia, tell all web developers that without them the championship can not start :)
