... most often my desktop looks like this:

')
there are no “My Computer” or “Trash” icons - I think that they are completely unnecessary there. And only distract attention.
and I am a cruel opponent of all sorts of wallpapers.

My desktop is a refuge for temporary files, files with which I don’t know what to do at this second, and files that have a short life - such as a clip, some kind of swf game or carbon monoxide.

But most of the time my desk is clean. I thought it was not rational - so much useful space disappears into the empty.
And I thought about what to adapt to this 1680 x 1050-pixel wealth.

The type of my activity presupposes many disparate cases with different time ranges and speed of reaction to these tasks.

Using a diary is terribly inconvenient, all kinds of outluko-like organizers are too bulky and overworked. It needed a simple easy solution. And it was found - Stickers. These real stickers are very indispensable for an office worker. Sticker hanging - reminds. Did - threw in the trash.
But the minus of the physical sticker is that it needs a physical place, most often it is a monitor. But the hung monitor is not karsivo - once. And not very convenient - two (stickers start to interfere).

The answer itself was vain - we need good virtual stickers for my empty desktop.
Software in this direction was well, just an unreal amount, but I still chose.
My criteria for selection: small size, portability - that is, the ability to work as it is. Without installation, for example from a flash drive. And of course, the usability factor.

I present you DeskStickers . Is free.

It is important to come up with a clear organization of stickers on the table. I divided the tasks for temporary reactions and I did this:

The first green bar: In the case of - the tasks that are being worked on.
The second blue bar: Here are the tasks that are about to appear.
The third yellow: Someday - tasks that are, but could be completed sometime later.
The fourth gray bar: My - personal things. Type: "burn movies on DVD."
Fifth red: Urgent! - tasks requiring syumin intervention or short-term reminders.

irrelevant stickers are deleted ... but you can always see the story.

Now my table looks like this:

The solution is quite simple, but allows you to keep your head empty and the desktop full.

from the pros: it is possible with one glance to assess the scale of its workload and upcoming events.
Maybe someone and this experience is useful.
