Proverbs .
Once, two followers of the Buddha’s teachings went to the temple. It was a long time ... It rained and the road was blurred. Everywhere there was dirt. Passing through one village, they saw a very beautiful girl standing in front of the road in bewilderment - she thought how she could cross this road without smearing her dress.
One of the monks approached her and asked for her permission, picked her up and carried her to the other side of the road.
Reaching the temple, the second monk asked the first:
- Why did you decide to take this step? The doctrine does not tell us to think about women, and you held her to yourself while you were carrying!
')
To which he replied first:
“I only carried her from one end of the road to the other, and you carried her the rest of the way to the temple ...”
