Electronic services in Russia will be reduced

So for all the development of the portal in the general catalog there were only 945 federal services, of which only the button “Get the service” works in 250. Also in the catalog are described over 11 thousand regional and 21 thousand municipal services, but “the situation is even worse ”, According to the State Secretary, Deputy Minister of Economic Development Oleg Fomichev.
However, many services are not popular. According to the deputy minister, some of them receive no more than 2-3 applications per year with the same expenses for the construction of infrastructure, although 20 services presented on the portal currently satisfy 80% of user requests. Therefore, it was decided to revise the portal, leaving only two dozen working services, adding new ones only after thorough testing and availability of demand from users. What specific services will remain on the portal, the official did not specify. But at the moment the most popular are, according to portal statistics: obtaining a foreign passport, checking the personal account of the Pension Fund, as well as checking the presence of traffic police fines.

Let me remind you that already by 2010 over 20 billion rubles were spent on the construction of the infrastructure of gosuslugi.ru under the project “ Electronic Russia (2002–2010) ”, for the whole 2011 217 million rubles were spent only to support the system, and by the end of 2013 in total, it is planned to spend another 1.2 billion already on the program " Information Society " for mobile versions, promotion and development.
