Computers have been tuned for a long time, but it never occurred to anyone that with ordinary routers and switches you can do something. I decided to eliminate this injustice, and at the same time improve cooling. And I must say it turned out very funny gadgets with legs =)

Despite the abundance of D-Link labels, I ask you not to regard this as an advertisement for this manufacturer - one of the reasons for the rework was the high heating of the router, leading to hangs if it is placed in a warm, ventilated place horizontally. Also, the task was to make such a mount, which would allow to quickly deploy the device aki hut on chicken legs for connecting and disconnecting cables. By the way, the chicken legs were bought on the construction market and provide excellent rationality, see for yourself:

And finally, a photograph of the devices in operation (narrow narrow shelves also influenced the design choice):

There was no standard vertical fastener with these models (although other models do, but these poor plastmaski with a tiny base do not withstand the load that the bundle of wires gives).
Now everything works without lags and is easy to maintain.
PS: removed “Modding:” from the title in connection with the transfer to the blog of the same name in order to avoid taftology.
PPS: According to applications of habrasliters, I made a comparative photo of regular D-Link legs with mine. The legs are taken from the switch from work.
