I found a link to an interesting and ironic
article (in English) on MS OOXML, widely known in narrow circles of
Sasha Side . But not only the article is interesting, but also a small and inconspicuous commentary on it:
Google position.
I don’t usually speak for Google, but I’m going to make it exception :-).
We don’t believe that OOXML is suitable as an open standard. Google Search. This hardly constitutes "support" or any agreement that OOXML is a preferred document type. We are fully following the standard document format.

Google's Position
I usually do not speak on behalf of Google, but in this case I am going to make an exception :-).
We do not believe that OOXML is acceptable as an open standard. Google supports OOXML when searching in a very limited way in order to allow users to find the information they are looking for. This is hardly a “support” or confirmation that any preference is given to the OOXML format. We unconditionally support ODF as an ISO standard for documents. [Jeremy Allison]
