Samsung is the most active advertiser on the "pirated" sites of Ukraine

Recently, the results of the analysis of advertisers, which provide an opportunity to earn pirated sites. The initiative to carry out such an analysis belongs to the Clear Sky group. Yes, and practical benefits (for the "fighters against piracy") also exist - after all, one of the main ways to deal with sites such as file sharing is to hide the flow of money from advertisers. In some European countries, this kind of advertising is regulated, and it is prohibited to advertise on pirate sites. However, in other countries such advertising flourishes.

This is understandable - after all, on sites like ex.ua, fs.ua and other traffic, attendance is very high, which means advertisers can get new customers. Of course, in this post, no one is going to defend the "pirates" or copyright holders. It’s just really interesting who is the most active in all of Ukraine’s advertising on resources that distribute illegal content.

Actually, the group that conducted the analysis, and worked only with the two above-mentioned resources, which are the largest not only in / in Ukraine, but, and, possibly, in the entire CIS. Attendance of resources is estimated at millions of "unique" per week.

So, about 10% of advertising that is placed on these resources is provided by well-known brands. And about half of these 10% is Samsung advertising (4.2% of the total amount of all advertising provided by famous brands).

The Clear Sky group also reports that about 15% of all advertising (probably referring to online advertising) posted by the South Korean corporation in / in Ukraine, accounts for "pirated" sites.

Now this group, Clear Sky, is going to attract the attention of the government and the public to this “problem”. Most likely, the public will not care, but the government may well "pay attention" to all this. Although, before, they tried to close EX.ua, but after the intervention of someone of high rank everything was stalled.

Well, in the meantime, everything goes as it goes.
