How to disable the search on a new tab Chrome

If you, like me, are annoyed by a search line with a logo and a bunch of empty space in the new version of the new Chrome tab, but you don’t know how to disable it, then you are here. If you can not live without all the features of the old new tab, which are now gone (recently closed windows, sites opened on other devices), you are here.

1. Go to chrome: // flags.
2. Find the item “Enable Instant Extended API” / “Enable Extended API of Live Search” and select Disable.
3. Press the Restart button in the bar that appeared at the bottom of the window.
4. Profit!
