Pew Research associate, published a map
developed by two scientists from the Oxford Internet Institute, which uses traffic data from Alexa to determine the most visited websites in each country.

The countries look funny because each is scaled according to the number of internet users in it.
The results are entertaining: Google dominates most of North America, Europe, South Asia and the South Pacific, while Facebook wins in the Spanish-speaking America, the Middle East and North Africa. Researchers Mark Graham and Stefano De Sabbata say that among the 50 countries where Facebook is listed as the most visited visited site, Google or YouTube (which has been owned by Google since 2006) ranked second.
