We are pleased to announce that in the next two weeks Jelastic’s office will be visited by real IT industry gurus: Michael Widenius (or Monty, the creator of MySQL), Rasmus Lerdorf (“the father of PHP”) and Mark Zbikowski (former Microsoft architect).
Of course, this is a great honor for our team, and, of course, the opportunity to talk with experts of the highest level and replenish their knowledge. Michael "Monty" Widenius is the author of the original version of MySQL, an open source DBMS, which is currently working on its branch, MariaDB.
Rasmus Lerdorf is a Danish programmer who literally wrote the world's first version of PHP in just one day. Now Rasmus is actively working to improve and modify his brainchild.
Mark Zbikowski is a former Microsoft architect, the creator of the Windows NT file system. Currently, Mark is a technical consultant in several companies, including Jelastic consulting partner.
