Wire trap. Concept

Another masterpiece of design ideas was found on the site Yankodesign.com . This time I drew attention to the concept of an office / computer desk, proposed by the designers of Ram-hae Keum & Jung-Jin So. Actually, it’s not even about the table, but about the successfully planned “upgrade” of a hole in it, designed to pass wires through it, which are still full. Not everyone uses wireless mice, and the monitor or speakers are not wireless at all.

In contrast to the holes intended for wires, which are found in some office desks, the plastic ring of Keum and Co, which they called Cord Trap (literally, the cable trap), is equipped with a diameter of several notches of different sizes. They are needed in order to hold the wires, which otherwise dangle like something bad there in the hole. For neat people and lovers of beauty and order, the idea is simply excellent.

I am not sure that nobody had thought of such an attachment before (but I did not find examples of such an implementation). But if I order myself a new computer desk, I will ask designers to implement something like this. At least relatively.
