Faces of Facebook: All FB users on one page
An interesting project from designer Natalie Rojas will show us all the pictures of Facebook profiles. Now the social network already has 1.2 billion profiles. Photos of 1/6 of the world's population fit on the page with a color reminiscent of "white noise." The project is called Faces of Facebook . The numbering goes from left to right, top to bottom.
Viewing all profile snapshots would take 36 years, five months, nine days, six hours, 46 minutes, and 16 seconds. And this is assuming that one second is devoted to viewing a single profile picture.
Each photo from the profile takes a certain place. They are arranged in chronological order, i.e. on the first, network creator Mark Zuckerberg.
“We do not violate any of Facebook’s privacy policy because we never store user’s personal information, their photos and names,” says the author.
