Sales of Highscreen Boost 2: 6,000 mAh and the Guinness Book of Records began

You can relate to Highscreen as you please, but do not take one away from the brand - the hit model Highscreen Boost, the most "long-playing" smartphone in the open spaces of Russia. Around the beginning of September, on various sites, I noticed the first slipping information that Highscreen was preparing to release Boost 2. A couple of days ago, a couple of “grocery” smartphone photos appeared on Hi-Tech.Mail.Ru, and this morning in spam I I noticed the newsletter, which announced the start of sales of new items.

The first thing - of course, TTX. I cite what was found in the attached file:

')

About the main thing - batteries. Continuing the tradition of Highscreen Alpha R, the brand put two batteries for 6,000 and 3,000 mAh into the box with the smartphone. That is, the novelty entered the emerging “treshek” segment, overtaking the competitors due to the second complete battery. I will not draw conclusions about autonomy - I hope to get the device in the very near future. It is clear that if marketing minds attribute one week without a socket to the first Highscreen Boost, then Boost 2 will at least double this achievement.

If you do not pay attention to the battery, then Highscreen Boost 2 is a typical representative of mid-range smartphones. The Qualcomm 8225Q processor is almost a Highscreen “classic”, used in Highscreen Omega Q, Omega Prime and Omega Prime XL. It is clear that the "heart" is more than budget, from the starting line of Qualcomm, however, in the active 4 cores with a frequency of 1.2 GHz. You won't surprise anyone with a 5-inch HD display, but a couple of interesting updates are attached. The display is manufactured by Sharp using OGS and Full Lamination technologies.

The thickness of the case came out completely not "deadly" with either of the two batteries. 9.8 mm are found everywhere and far from not the “longest-playing” smartphones, but 14.8 mm for 5 inches ... We'll see it live, in its time, the 14-mm Highscreen Alpha R case was pleasant to me with its “round” ergonomics.

Another good news is that the price of the first Boost fell from 8,990 rubles (~ $ 280) to 6,990 rubles (~ $ 219). Highscreen Boost 2 itself costs 10,990 rubles (~ $ 343), which, given the characteristics of the model, I personally have no financial inconsistencies.

PS As stated in the press release, Vobis Computer has already filed an application for making the Highscreen Boost 2 record for autonomy in the Guinness Book of Records. ” We are waiting, with what happens.
