Google will pay not only for clicks

Google , within the contextual advertising platform Google Adsense, is preparing a new software solution - “pay per action”. During testing of the system, some ad units will be installed on some sites; site owners will be paid not by clicking on the ad unit, but by following actions on the advertiser's site (for example, requesting additional information, viewing other pages, ordering goods, etc.).

Unlike standard Google Adsense ad units, as part of the Cost Per Action program, a webmaster can choose the type of advertisements, enter his own ad text, etc.

The new system is essentially protected from "false clicks." Upon completion of testing, it will complement a range of webmaster advertising products within Google Adsense.
