A Thai soy milk company has figured out what to do with old, discharged batteries. Vitamilk has teamed up with BBDO Proximity Thailand , an organization that focuses on customer and brand relationships, to create the Dead Batteries for Dead Batteries project.

Using the residual power of 1,500 used batteries donated by the public, the team created an entire wall of batteries capable of charging 140 smartphones . The video shows how batteries have threes in the wall before users begin to fit and connect their phones. In Vitamilk, it was estimated that within two months the wall provided an additional 3328 hours of talk time to smartphones.
