The new head of the company is already building prospects for the future. And the first step after the completion of the sale of Nokia's mobile business to Nokia, along with 5.44 billion euro patents, may be the acquisition of Alcatel.

From an unnamed source, it became known that Nokia is discussing the possibility of partnership with the French Alcatel-Lucent, which is part of a restructuring plan after the sale of the mobile division to the software giant. Official negotiations on this topic have not yet been conducted, the discussion takes place on the sidelines of the Finnish company, reports Bloomberg.com with an insider link closest to Nokia’s plans. Finns have a choice: buy Alcatel-Lucent completely or just a wireless business.

The possibility of buying Alcatel's telecommunications business has already been discussed. After the epochal events of the beginning of September, the possibility arose that companies could again sit at the negotiating table.
