From the moment the battery is discharged, it is sent to the recycling center at its best, and thrown away at the worst. The Thai company Vitamilk, a manufacturer of soy milk, has come up with an unusual way to advertise its products just using discarded batteries, and unobtrusively and with benefits potential audience.
The project of the company is called “Dead batteries for Dead Batteries” and technically is a panel a little more than a human height with cells, where you can install a used AA-battery - about the same as in the remote control. In total, the panel can be installed 1500 batteries, which the authors of the project got for free, because they were thrown away by the owners. The used battery, according to the authors of the project, still retains approximately 400 mAh of charge. 1500 batteries in such a charging panel, respectively, provide approximately 15,000 mAh or, in more understandable for the average person, the full charge of 140 smartphones or 830 hours of talk. The owner of the discharged gadget, using a special holder, can connect the smartphone to the charging station and enable it to continue functioning. ')
The video below shows the project in a live demonstration. According to the authors, he has been working for two months now and has given everyone over 3328 hours of life to their mobile devices.
