What is wrong with our EsheDeshe?



This summer, we at Aidem, together with our partners, launched the project of an online store for joint purchases EsheDeshe.ru . The task was to make a joint purchase convenient (now it’s in 99% of forums where a normal person without “half a liter” will not understand).

Designing the UX and UI is our specificity, so we began with a study and analysis of the market and similar projects. Developed the characters, the concept, protested, described the logic, behavior, defined the requirements for design, materials, etc. - received a specification of the form and behavior (60+ pages). We ordered the development of identity and site layouts from a good designer, went into development, and at the same time began to enter into contracts with suppliers and partners.

In the store we use several ancillary services (determination of the geo-location of the buyer, service for calculating the cost of delivery by different transport companies, service for sending SMS and others).

They wrote, spent several testing cycles and launched. But the explosion did not happen. They called an intelligent specialist for promotion in social networks, worked for several months with him, but that did not help either. We conducted several small advertising campaigns in VK, FB, OK, Ya.Direkte, were engaged in SEO optimization, in general, tried to do everything necessary.

Now we are preparing a video about how to use the site, and how it all works. Maybe people just don't understand how to buy at EsheDeshe. We are thinking about the idea of ​​reducing the number of goods to 30-40 (by going away from categories), changing them, for example, every 2-3 weeks. But, honestly, we don’t know if all this will help. In many ways, therefore, we are writing to you - to ask for advice or recommendations, to hear different points of view.

PS We have a lot of things there: a complicated system of automatic notifications (more than 30 templates for different scenarios); tricky admin to process all applications and purchases; payment tracking; automatic refund; timeout waiting for the arrival of funds in a bank transfer and much, much more.
