AlterWiki - quick search on Russian wiki projects

AlterWiki is a new useful site for wikisreda lovers. AlterWiki allows you to search all Russian wiki projects, see which projects have the necessary page. See also the description on the site itself .

For example, the required article is not in Wikipedia, and there are so many different wiki projects of various profiles that it will take quite a long time to search manually in each one. In this case, with the help of AlterWiki, you can quickly see if there is an article in at least one of the Russian wiki projects, compare the wiki projects that it is in (full article, or transfer / redirect / ambiguity, author, size), if necessary read all these articles.

Also on the page especially noted, if in any wiki project, an article with this name was created, but then excluded by the administration.

One of the useful pages is the Updates page, on which all new articles appear in Russian wiki projects (the project in which the article was last modified was marked with a bold sign).

Currently, the site's database contains 127 thousand pages from 11 large Russian wiki projects. New articles are regularly added automatically. For filling AlterWiki, 11 wiki projects are used (the creators also planned to replenish their number with Blackberries, but its administrator did not want to open access to reading materials from the site through the API). There is a full-text search.
