The popularity of Firefox in European countries has set a new record, according to figures from the company XiTi Monitor. According to statistics for December 2007 , the share of Firefox was exactly 28%. The share of Internet Explorer dropped to 66.1%. Analysts point out that the growth of Firefox takes place several months before the release of Firefox 3, and this is a very promising trend.

In some countries, Firefox is especially loved. The leaders on this indicator are Finland (the share of Firefox - 45.4%), Slovenia (44.6%) and Poland (42.4%). Absolute outsiders are the Netherlands (14.7%) and Ukraine (16.6%).
