The world chooses new seven wonders of the world

The world needs new seven wonders of the world, because of the recognized since time immemorial only one single “miracle” has survived - the pyramid of Cheops at Giza. Therefore, the project “New Seven Wonders” appeared , the authors of which made an expert list of 200 monumental pearls.

The seven leaders will be determined by voting, reports NEWSru.com , the final results of which will be publicly announced on July 7, 2007 in Lisbon. Now it is known that more than 20 million people around the world managed to vote for these or those “miracles”, and a short list has already been compiled, which included 21 historical monuments. Among the nominees, we note, is Pokrovsky Cathedral in Moscow.
